For many people in Japan, Christianity can feel unfamiliar, distant, or difficult to understand. Gospel Hope Japan was created as a simple place to explore the message at the center of the Christian faith: the gospel.
The gospel is the good news for everyone.
The hope of this good news is that God loves humanity and has acted in history through His son Jesus' life, death on the cross, burial, and resurrection - defeating sin and death! Through this, God offers forgiveness, hope, and reconciliation to all people.

What's the "Gospel"?
Although Christians around the world have different cultures, values, and walks of life, they share a faith based on the same gospel.
This video collection presents the gospel of the Bible from a variety of perspectives and methods. There are many ways to express this, such as telling stories, teaching in an easy-to-understand way, focusing on God's love, and thinking about people's worries and the need for forgiveness and hope.
Although people may have different ways of explaining the gospel, its central message remains the same. It is the good news about Jesus Christ that Christians around the world have based their faith and hope on throughout history.
